Happy (Almost) Galentine’s Day!!
Here’s some party inspo for your future gal pal parties, along with a checklist of things you’ll need to create the ultimate Galentine’s party ladies get-together!
Galentine’s Day Checklist
Send Out Invites. ✔️
Send a cute text message to friends, or create an e-vite on either paperlesspost.com or Hobnob app on your phone. Skip the paper invites and keep it easy.
Choose a Theme. ✔️
Fries Before Guys, Be My Galentine, Drink that Pink Rosé party, Spa Day, Women & Wine, High Tea, No Boys Allowed, Pancakes & Pajamas, Bitches & Bubbly, and more!
The Menu! ✔️
Have everyone bring a favorite dish of their own, but be sure to provide some guidelines such as a cheese board party, waffle bar, brunch theme, etc. So that people can sign up and know what to bring. Keep it simple!
Gal Pal Playlist. ✔️
Search Spotify or Pandora for the ultimate Galentine’s playlist. Try this playlist here!
Have ALL the Champagne on Deck. ✔️
Make sure to be fully stocked with some bubbly, a specialty cocktail or some sort of boozy drink!
Assign a ‘Cupid’ or Organize a Wine Swap. ✔️
What’s a cupid? Randomly choose and assign names to each of your guests to do a small gift exchange: treat yo self girl gifts are always fun to receive and GIVE! Or organize a wine swap where everyone brings a bottle to swap around, and create your own rules if stealing once or twice is allowed or not. Sounds like too much work? Just make it a wine tasting where everyone brings a wine and print out tasting note cards! Like these note cards here. Have fun with it!
Party Favors, Please. ✔️
Always a must! Whether you pick up some nail polish, face masks, chocolates, or mini champs for the girls— a take home gift is always a nice touch. Want to save on money? Write each guest a Galentine’s Card instead and stick a little chocolate with that kind note.
Party Activities. ✔️
What will you and your guests be doing besides drinking all the champs and chatting? Here are some ideas! Paint your nails, make Galentine’s cards, decorate cookies, sip + wine taste with tasting note cards, turn on spa day mode with some facials or face masks, watch a classic movie like Sex in the City, or even play a game like Cards Against Humanity!
Decor, Always. ✔️
Dress up your home or event space with all the decor. Balloons, table decor, chocolates, flowers, cute plates/napkins and more! Find tons of decor inspo from the pictures here.
Take Pictures, Or It Didn’t Happen. ✔️
Setup a simple photobooth area or just have your camera ready to go! Polaroids are always fun to have around too so your guests can have a keepsake to take home.
